The powerful African Fish Eagle, with its iconic call, represents the essence of the wild African skies and is a heart-stirring find for any bird enthusiast.

AFRICAN PARADISE FLYCATCHER, AMETHYST SUNBIRD & AFRICAN HARRIER-HAWJ

Birders with a keen eye might revel in the sight of an African Paradise Flycatcher, flicking its extravagant tail as it darts through the woodland. The reserve’s foliage occasionally teases with the shimmer of an Amethyst Sunbird, while the peculiar foraging of the African Harrier-Hawk (Gymnogene) fascinates those lucky enough to witness it.

Southern Bald IBIS
